Statement of Principle

Options Pregnancy Clinic (OPC) is an outreach ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ through His church.  Therefore,  OPC  is committed to expressing the truth of His gospel  to all patients, both in word and in deed.  In keeping with that commitment, those who serve in any capacity with OPC (board members,  paid staff, or volunteers) must know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

OPC is committed to providing all clients with accurate and complete information about both prenatal development and abortion.

OPC is committed to integrity in dealing with all patients, earning trust and providing  information and services as promised.  OPC denounces any form of deception in its corporate advertising or individual conversations with its patients.

OPC is committed to assisting women to carry to term by providing emotional support and practical assistance.  Through the provision of God's people and the community at large, women may face the future with hope, and plan constructively for themselves and their babies.

OPC does not discriminate in providing services because of race, creed, color,  national origin, age, sex, disability, or marital status of its patients.

 OPC does not recommend, provide, or refer for abortion or abortifacients.

 OPC offers assistance free of charge at all times to all patients.

OPC is committed to creating community awareness of the needs of pregnant women.  Furthermore, OPC is committed to affirming that abortion only compounds human need rather than resolves it.

 OPC does not recommend, provide, or refer single women for contraceptives.  Married women seeking contraceptive information are urged to seek counsel, along with their husbands, from their pastors and health care professionals.

 OPC acknowledges the validity of adoption as one alternative to abortion,  but is not biased towards adoption as compared to other life-affirming alternatives.  OPC  maintains no official relationship with adoption agencies other than as helpful referral sources.  OPC receives no payment of any kind from these adoption agencies,  does not enter into contractual relationships with them,  and does not share combined office space with them.  OPC neither initiates nor facilitates independent adoptions, although OPC may refer clients for independent adoptions.
